The original Courthouse and other historical structures stand as reminders of our town’s beginnings. Established in 2016, the Springfield A.D. is committed to the development, preservation, and beautification of our downtown area. Our purpose is to invigorate the downtown area economically and socially while maintaining its historic charm & increasing financial viability and success of new and existing businesses.

A special grant program is available for new businesess, or businesses that create new jobs in the D.D.A zone.
